In case you are unable to decide whether to get yourself a cottage, a summer residence or a family house, this house in Dvorce will be a an ideal compromise which will, at the same time, meet all criteria for the quality life.

This house’s story dates back to 1930 and only this year it underwent a complete reconstruction. The owners aimed to preserve the original Old Bohemian-style features and to blend them seamlessly with the modern design, both in the interior and the exterior. In our opinion, they really did succeed. What do you think?

Smart space arrangement is paramount when it comes to quality living and in this case, the original owners really thought it through.

This four bedroom house features a 115 m^2 living space with a spacious downstairs kitchen adjacent to a dining hall which is connected to a living room with a garden view. The eye-candy of the property is a relax room with fireplace connected to a home office. Whether it be romantic evenings for the with your significant other, quiet time over your favourite books or a meditative coffee time, this is where it all happens. The rest of the floor is where you will find a bathroom with shower cabinet, backlit mirrors, built-in power and USB outlets.

The way to the attic leads via massive wooden stairs that underwent a complete renovation. The atmosphere is suave thanks to a designer rock-garden.

Second section

The second one is a work section as it features a spacious workshop just for any handyman. Dvorce are absolutely unique little village in the Central Bohemian region stationed amidst astonishing nature yet only a few kilometres away from all perks of the urban necessities. Just in the back of the house there is a forest where you can enjoy relaxing walks and do some mushroom picking. Five minutes on two wheels will take you to the local lagoon or to one of the best fishing spots of the region.

The urban lifestyle is really just around the corner. Lysá nad Labem, where you can find kindergartens, schools, playgrounds, cafés, restaurants and supermarkets is just 3 minutes away. For those who prefer to do their shopping on Rohlik, the closest pickup point is only within 7 minutes from the house. In case you want to keep your kids busy take them to a nearby adventure-slash-learning park Mirakulum which welcomes over 300 thousand people annually. Those who enjoy cycling will truly enjoy the local bike trails as there are plenty. On the other hand, for those who prefer to be in a role of sports spectators we recommend to visit the local horse track near Lysá nad Labem.

In case you are wondering about the connection to the metropolitan areas, the D10 highway will take you to Mladá Boleslav in just 25 minutes and in only 15 to the closes subway stop in Prague — Černý Most. On the other hand, if you are a fan of smaller, cozy towns, make your way to Lysá nad Labem or Brandýs nad Labem, roughly 14 minutes driving distance. For those of you who prefer public transport, we recommend the 38 minutes of staring through the train windows out into the Bohemian nature on your way from Lysá nad Labem to Prague’s main station.
